As expected with any multiplayer game - or new release these days - Modern Warfare 2 has received a new patch for players to download and use. As millions of players jump into the game, Infinity Ward is quickly tweaking and fixing issues the community faces, and Patch 1.11 brings a sleuth of changes.
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 version 1.08 is available to download on PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox One. According to the COD Modern Warfare 2 1.08 patch notes, the latest update added various fixes and changes to the game. Apart from this, COD Modern Warfare 2 patch 1.08 also includes stability improvements on all platforms.

On November 16, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players can download the Season 1 update, which will add the Warzone 2.0 battle royale and the new DMZ game mode. It will also include weapon balance changes and potential UI refinements, though more information on that front will have to wait for the Season 1 patch notes.
Infinity Ward has deployed a rather hefty patch update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, with players on Xbox and PlayStation consoles reporting a download size of roughly 40GB. However, the 1.08 update does finally reenable the new weapon tuning feature, with a full blog post on the update arriving later today.

You can change game download rates in the the Battle.net App Settings under Game Install/Update. To maximize the game download rate, the maximum Network Bandwidth limit must be set to zero. By default, download rate for future patch data is limited to 100 KB per second.
